Trican Completion Solutions is pleased to announce the awarding  of the ISO 9001:2008 quality certification to its multistage fracturing tool facilities in Houston. The audit, performed by Bureau Veritas, a third party 9001 ISO registrar, evaluated the company’s business policies, processes and procedures at our Brittmoore and Bluff Point locations to determine compliance to the ISO 9001:2008 quality standard requirements. Other audit focal points included an assessment of the business’s commitment to quality, and the organization’s ability to deliver products and services that meet our objectives and customer requirements.

Trican Completion Solutions is certified for a three-year period. Bureau Veritas will conduct annual surveillance audits to ensure that our QMS, in addition to being maintained, also demonstrates improvement and effectiveness.

The internationally recognized QMS ISO 9001 standard creates a framework for managing the organization’s quality process and is based upon eight quality management principles:

  • Customer focus
  • Leadership
  • Involvement of people
  • Process approach
  • System approach to management
  • Continual improvement
  • Factual approach to decision making
  • Mutually beneficial supplier relationships

“The successful implementation of this QMS and its subsequent validation to ISO standards was a catalyst for building an enhanced working culture of continual improvement, in order to establish ourselves as a world class player in the marketplace,” offered Andrew Buzinsky, VP Trican Completion Solutions.
