With a genuine desire to help change the fact that cancer is the most deadly disease in children, Trican is investing $5 million in pediatric cancer care and research.

Made on behalf of the company and its employees, Trican’s gift will support the Blood and Marrow Transplantation (BMT) Program at the Alberta Children’s Hospital, as well as the development of new cures and treatments at the University of Calgary.

The Trican Hematology, Oncology and BMT Clinic will help fund new discoveries, new cures and gentler therapies for the more than 12,000 child patients who visit the clinic each year. The five million dollar contribution will help build national expertise in childhood cancer care, and fund research that will benefit children and adults across Canada and around the world.
