Each employee, customer, contractor, and visitor has the right to a safe workplace. Though practically every one of our values has a place in our HSE policy, “We won’t put anyone in harm’s way” tops the list.
Our Target Zero program engages employees in job safety practices, hazard identification, and protection of the environment, while giving them the right to refuse unsafe work individually or collectively.
Whether in transit, on location, or at an office or base, Trican rigorously enforces our own standards for safety and environmental protection, as well as those of our customers and regulators worldwide.
Our industry is highly regulated, and Trican is compliant in how we operate and how we prepare for emergencies such as spills, equipment failure, accidents, sabotage, or other incidents that could result in environmental damage.
It’s not optional; it’s how we work.
A quality management system is a set of coordinated processes and procedures that Trican has developed to achieve service quality. Trican operates and maintains a quality system based upon the requirements of ISO 9001:2008, which is the world’s most widely implemented quality standard.
The purpose of a quality system is to consistently meet or exceed customer requirements, with the goal of continual improvement. The system performance is monitored through key performance indicators (KPIs) that are tracked and communicated both internally and to customers. Audits are conducted periodically to verify compliance to requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.
